Beetle - The Little Grim Collection

A beetle that has a lot of thoughts to share if only someone would speak to him...

The "Little Grim Collection" is a collection of 8 Original Acrylic Paintings that are here to remind us to try and notice the small things, to give our brain a break from the big things.

The world is loud and scary and can make one’s mind fill with noise. And what can we do to quieten it when we feel so helpless? We can notice the small things around us. Like the little bugs on their daily mission, birds playing together and hanging upside down from branches or feeling the trunk of a tree and how it twists and stretches upwards for sunlight. And maybe, just maybe, if we look hard enough, we will spot fantastical and strange little creatures; small beings that often go unnoticed.

In moments like these, the noise around us and in our heads can quieten, but for a moment, and make all our worries seem, well, small.
